Almost 10,000 BTC, price about $165 million, have been transferred from wallets on the BTC-e trade linked to the 2014 Mt. Gox hack on Wednesday.
The transaction, the most important since August 2017, concerned a pockets labeled BTC-e by blockchain evaluation system Crystal Blockchain.
The transaction occurred round 08:38 UTC, with the pockets that obtained the three,500 BTC forwarding the 300 BTC to a different tackle, which was then additional despatched to a number of wallets that aren’t a part of any identified escrow providers.
In 2014, the Bitcoin trade Mt. Gox misplaced 744,408 BTC in a hacking assault and was completely shut down in 2014.
